#TribeofGuruvé ™️ Society & Culture Agency #FreeConsultations

A funky collective of Multi-Media Artists. We adapted Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s words: "Art and Literature are the weapons". Our focus is solely to HELP OTHERS irrespective of their reputation, status or life’s struggle through our society, culture, social media and the written word. Everyone has a story to tell.

Guruve is one of several districts in the Mashonaland Central province of Zimbabwe. The district capital is the town of Guruve.  Famous locally for its pink Moroccan-style hotel, it is close to Tengenenge, an established sculpture community.

We are not sculpture artists, but we chisel:

  • short stories,
  • anecdotes,
  • blogposts,
  • creative poetry,
  • badman rap songs,
  • AfroBeat singalongs,
  • Good vibe rhymes,
  • bare reviews for the mandem,
  • booming articles
  • pensive reflections from our journals thus far.

We are fresh, contemporary writing leaders who are articulating the New Age Africa.

The founder is SonofGuruvé, the inspiration Sekuru Sarikosi and it began with Madzibaba Stembeya.

We are an extension of Gota village, Guruve, Zimbabwe, Africa, and THE WORLD!

My family moved there in 1998 so I did for a while during my teenage years. It is still where I call home when I am around.
